Speech & Drama Team

Did you know there is a Speech and Drama Team at Jefferson?

Yep -- and it’s open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!  There are several categories of public speaking: improv, poetry, storytelling, duo acting, small group acting, and improv duet.  You can write your own script or use something that’s already published.  Mrs. Nekolny has several meeting times each week and will help you practice and refine your work all first trimester.  You then present your speech or act at a regional contest in November.

 

Try something new!  Bring a friend or two and see what it’s all about!
