Athletics Sign-up Information
JJHS Sports Registration
REGISTRATION (3 Steps) IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ - NEW PROCESS FOR PHYSICALS
Step 1: Online Registration
Register via JJHS SNAP (link also available under Registration on the JJHS Athletics page).
For Returning JJHS Families:
- Do NOT create a new account. Multiple accounts can cause future issues—such as trouble uploading physicals or registering.
- If you can’t log in, use the “Recover Account” feature on SNAP.
For New JJHS Families:
- Check if your family already has an account (used for camps or sports in 7th grade)
- If an account exists, use account recovery—do not create a new one.
- If your family is brand new (no previous registrations at any of those schools), create an account once per family.
Step 2: Confirmation
- After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email—save it!
- If no email arrives, your registration did not go through. Please check and redo if necessary.
Step 3: Sports Physical
All athletes must have a current sports physical dated August 2025 or later in order to participate. If the current physical on file is dated August 2025 or earlier, they will not be allowed to participate or tryout until a current physical is uploaded and approved.
● Physicals must be uploaded and confirmed at least a day before tryouts. Physicals will be approved as quickly as they are uploaded, however, please allow 24 hours.
● IHSA rules: Physicals older than 13 months from the physician’s signature date are considered expired. An expired physical means no participation in practice or games—no exceptions.
● To check your existing physical: visit your SNAP profile (shown under Student Info).
● NEW POLICY: JJHS is now fully digital—physical forms must be uploaded directly to your SNAP account. How To Upload A Physical
- After uploading, the Health Office will verify and accept them. (You will receive an email from SNAP to let you know the physical has been approved or if you look in your profile you will see the upload has turned green from red when it is approved)
- If you have a paper copy, use a scanning app (e.g., Genius Scan, iScanner) on iOS/Android to create a PDF. SNAP does not accept multiple pictures, it must be one document.
- The physical will remain in a pending/unapproved status until approved by the Health Office
- Do NOT email or drop off hard copies—we can’t upload them for you.
