Your student belongs at Jefferson Junior High School! At Jefferson, we foster a learning environment that respects all individuals and ideas. We encourage your student to participate in our various clubs, activities, special school events, intramurals, athletics, and/or performance music groups in order to build their connections to their school community and peers and further develop their sense of belonging to our Patriot community. As a school community, we are future-focused and driven to innovate and support our community in new, unique ways. Our teachers strive to provide learning experiences that challenge our students to think critically, encourage inquiry, and foster the development of the whole student, including the support of their social emotional needs. Jefferson provides opportunities for students to succeed in many different ways by offering not only traditional classes like Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Sciences, and Physical Education, it provides elective opportunities in the area of Applied Arts & Sciences, World Languages, and Performance Music. There are also classrooms that support students who struggle along with students who excel.
